More about Ellanse Fillers...

What is the treatment?
Ellase is a filler not a treatment but it is a more advanced filler beig able to do alot more areas as well as lasting alot more time than other brands of filler.

Ellanse is a Unique Dermal Filler Family which offers a new era of safe, longer lasting and innovative solutions for beauty treatments, which are cost-effective by requiring less product for the same indications. Ellanse is a natural biostimulator, since it stimulates the creation of your own new collagen. Ellanse is composed of totally smooth Polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres, homogenously suspended in an aqueous Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) gel–carrier. Both chemicals have been used worldwide for several decades and have demonstrated excellent safety profile.

How long does a treatment take?
A treatment takes approximately 30 minutes allowing you to go straight back to your normal daily life.

How long will the results last?
You will get natural looking and immediate results, that last from 1 to 4 years* depending on which Ellansé® option your physician recommends to you. The correction is maintained for the duration of the option chosen enabling you to avoid multiple sessions.

How many sesssions are generally needed?
With Ellansé®, only one session is needed to obtain immediate results and long-lasting correction, making Ellansé® a cost effective treatment bringing you excellent value for money.

What should I do following treatment?
It is recommended to avoid hot bathing and vigorous exercise for 24 hours and over-exposure to the sun and UV light for 1 week after treatment.

Are there any side effects?
As with any injection there may be side effects such as localised redness, swelling and bruising. For more information, please contact your doctor.

As with all fillers, there may be some swelling, localised redness at the injection site, itching and tenderness immediately after treatment. These reactions are normal and transient. They are a result of the injection itself and generally resolve by themselves. Any swelling that may occur can remain up to a few days but will resolve without any interaction.

The use of PCL dermal filler is also far more widespread in treatments designed to restore and rejuvenate the face. Most commonly, it is used by plastic surgeons to complement an existing surgical procedure.

ELLANSÉ® is made up of an aqueous carboxymethylcellulose, with synthetic PolyCaproLactone microspheres. It is used at a fixed concentration – with different polymer chain lengths providing variable levels of longevity and durability.

The PCL microspheres are completely smooth and round, and are therefore the perfect shape for use in dermal fillers. The treatment is carried out in an outpatient environment, using ELLANSÉ® in a variety of ways depending on the specific imperfection we are looking to restore, and included different injection techniques e.g. linear tread, fanning technique, cross-hatching with local anaesthetic and ELLANSÉ® dermal filler.

This procedure is simple and safe. It does not have a disruptive effect on the patient’s everyday life including their social or professional activities, and the results are highly satisfying, even with a single application. Furthermore, the treatment can be repeated if required.
